Anne Granderson

Mom to Isa (11), Rosie (9), Grace & James (5 year old twins) and passionate believer that families thrive in communities of support, growth, and learning.

The Village at Ignite is so grateful to partner with Ignite Dance and Yoga to offer enrichment programing for young children and families.

In addition to classes held at Ignite, The Village is a place where parents can abandon the pressures of parenting the “right” way and focus on what they truly want their family life to look and feel like.  We all want what’s best for our kids, but it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the constant challenges, misbehavior, frustration and exhaustion that can too often creep into our daily experiences as parents.  The Village believes that it is possible to find greater joy and ease while raising tiny humans (even amidst the messiness!), and that we all have an opportunity to learn and grow along the way!

Anne Granderson approaches her work with curiosity and compassion for all families. She combines her extensive knowledge of child development and infant mental health with her training in Positive Discipline, Promoting First Relationships, and Gottman Bringing Home Baby to support the families she works with. Anne has also worked at Seattle Children’s Hospital for the past five years as an internal parent educator and coach, providing education and support to staff members.

The Village offers classes, workshops, and private coaching to support parents seeking an approach that feels good AND effective on the path to raising respectful, capable, and joyful little humans.  We hope you’ll join us – you don’t have to do this alone!
